The Seagull Entourage Rustic S6 Guitar Keeps the Tradition of Quality and Value Going

In the tradition of the award winning S6 Original, the Entourage Rustic S6 brings incredible value to players looking for undeniable sound and craftsmanship in an acoustic guitar. Features include the beautiful Rustic Burst Custom Polished finish, Seagull Slim neck with slimmer nut width, cream double binding and select pressure tested solid cedar top.

The Seagull Entourage Guitar Series

The Seagull Entourage guitars offer an exceptional value for players of all levels. These finely crafted Canadian made instruments feature select pressure tested solid cedar tops, wild cherry back & sides, cream double binding and the new Rustic Burst Custom Polished finish. Also, similar to the S6 Slim, the Entourage models feature the Seagull Slim neck with a 1.72 inch nut width, which is great for players who are more accustomed to a more traditional nut width.

More About Seagull Guitars

The Seagull story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning La Patrie. La Patrie is a small village in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. This is where the first Seagulls were made in the early eighties. Today, La Patrie has a population of about 475 and about half of these people are guitar builders. These folks take a great deal of pride in the guitars they build.

The Seagull Entourage is based upon the S6 Original Slim. It features beautiful new “plumage” in the form of a new Rustic Burst, custom polished finish. This finish not only protects the guitar but never impedes the sound of the instrument allowing it to age properly and sound better the more it’s played overtime.

Along with the new Integrated Set Neck system, for increased stability while reducing warping and twisting due to climate changes, the Entourage guitar also feature Select Pressure Tested Solid Tops. Testing the tops in this way ensures the highest levels of stiffness and rigidity along with optimal harmonic vibration. Other features include a Seagull Slim Neck with a 1.72″ nut, great for players more accustomed to a traditional nut width, a new arched rosette adding structural integrity to the area around the sound-hole, along with cream double binding, Tusq nut and fully compensated saddle to complete the finishing touches.

The Only Acoustic Guitar You Will Ever Need to Buy I’ve been playing guitar for over 22 years now. I’ve owned Fender telecasters and stratocasters made in the USA and Japan, a midrange Martin acoustic, a vintage Epiphone acoustic, several Gibson Hollowbodies and a Les Paul as well as other guitars and instruments. This is one of the finest instruments I think I have ever played. Sure you can pick up an instrument at many times the price and find something that sounds as good and perhaps better for your taste. But this instrument just sounds…

Best Guitar for under $1,000 Since I base many of my purchases of reviews I decided I need to also participate to the process. FYI I purchased the Seagull Entourage CW with pickup but it sounds almost identical to the this guitar.I have had this guitar for two months, and I am extremely happy. For the price this guitar is a steal. I compared this guitar with the Taylor 710 and Martin DXME, and many other brands/models. In my opinion the Seagull is a better sounding and quality guitar – although the Taylor 710…

Can’t beat it for the price! Played this and many other more famous brands. To my ears this guitar has a better tone than guitars at three times the price. Don’t hesitate to get this. The finish is really nice as well.
